Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel.  Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind).  So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me?  Pantser?  I think?  But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid.  And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly.  And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

The Theme is "Pinku pink Friends", they are a group of OC's made of our 3 characters: Chisa, Missu and Chiio.
The description of the group is: a group of friends, like sisters, they are very close and insaparable friends.
This contest starts on June 10th and the deadline is on August 10th! All entries need to be sent to the

As usual I don't want to spoil too much, but there is a part in the story where Spike and Sam are separated from each other for quite a long while. Music Is My Inspiration ContestWell guys I've decided to start my own contest, because I had awesome feedback on the idea ^_^
It'll be my first contest that I've held...EVER! So it's very exciting :3
So, about the theme of the contest. Well whenever I've felt down and blue because I've been slapped upside the head with an art block, I like to wallow in self pity and blast my favourite tunes XD (LOL) It's extremely therapeutic :P and it really does help to inspire me with new ideas :D.
A perfect example would be my OC's Medi-kate & Black Nova, both created from inspiration from music.

The time is ripe for tomatoes!

Yes everyone, its that time of the harvast again! My tomato plants are blossoming into beautiful and plump little angels and I cannot wait to share them with the world! I am pleased to anounce that I was invited to compete in a very prestigous tomato competition, where only the best farmers in Iowa give it their all in hopes of being crowned the prime tomato champion. This is a very high honor for me, ecspecially since I will be compeating with professionals such as, Derk Holtzmann! My stomach is in knots just thinking about coming face to face with a past raining tomato champion in hopes of taking his title. I take great pride in growing my tomatos. Every time I grasp one of my tomato vines and feel the moisture churning benieth the surface of the stem, I feel a since of belonging with the earth and chloriform. I feel a purpose with our Mother Nurture and her beauty that she plants in one vine at a time.

I am fearful, however, that my recipie and fine growing technique for my treasured plants will be taken note of and possibley used by some of my competiters! I heard that bananas are helpful for easing a nervous nelly, so I am planning on purchasing a few from the local farmers market! :)

Thank you all for your support and comfort during the time of which my spanial, Janice, was ill with ring worm. Youre comments brought a calm peace to my mind and sure enough, as the sun rose the next morning, Janice was back to her old self again, frollicking through the corn stacks and playing fetch with my uncle deep within the meadow. Just thinking of her sweet pressence makes me want to go see her. I think I will treat her to one of my tomatoes! It will be her very first tomato, now that I think of it, so I hope she enjoys it thouroughly!

The next One Truly Can comic will be up shortly! I deeply apreciate youre patience throuhout these last few months, for my mind has been sorely occupied by preperation for collage in the fall (YAY!), as well as my comic entries for the OCT, Challenge of the Gods!
